Kate Griffith, PT, DPT
Kate graduated from Northeastern University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2016. After graduating, she gained experience and expanded her clinical skillset in an outpatient sports and orthopedic clinic in Greater Seattle. She is passionate about sports and orthopedic rehabilitation and has added to her clinical toolbox through additional coursework. She has completed training in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) to identify and address faulty movement patterns responsible for pain or injury. Additionally, she has completed training in Functional Movement Techniques (FMT) Kinesiology Taping and FMT Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. Kate’s role at VASTA fulfills her desire to help people recover from injuries, improve movement habits, and pursue physically active lifestyles. She works collaboratively with her patients to motivate and support their safe and effective return to activity. Prior to her studies in Physical Therapy, she earned her B.S. in Exercise and Movement Science at the University of Vermont. While at UVM, she was a member of the Women’s Club Soccer Team. Personal: A native Vermonter, Kate loves maple syrup and exploring the trails of the Green Mountains with her husband and golden retriever pup.
