Patrick Messenger, B.S, ATC, NASM-PES


Patrick graduated from the University of Vermont in 2021 with a degree in Athletic Training and has worked at VASTA since December 2022. Before VASTA, Patrick worked as an Athletic Trainer at the high school level for a year and a half.


Patrick has experience with people of all ages and abilities – from organized sports to simply trying to live a more functional life. He is a BOC certified Athletic Trainer as well as a NASM certified Performance Enhancement Specialist.

A two-sport athlete in highschool, Patrick was a Center Fielder in baseball and an offensive & defensive lineman in football. In college, he was an offensive lineman and linebacker for UVM Club Football throughout. Nowadays, Patrick enjoys weightlifting and playing dodgeball, and also coaches UVM Club Football.


Patrick is from Weybridge, Vermont, and currently lives in Burlington. Having been involved in athletics since he can remember, he was even a VASTA client at one point in his life – this is where his interest in the field began. Outside of VASTA, Patrick is an avid musician and plays in a few different groups throughout the greater Burlington area. At home, Patrick enjoys reading and cooking.
