Ashlyn Woods, PT, DPT

Ashlyn graduated from Lees-McRae College in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in Health Sciences. While at Lees-McRae, Ashlyn raced for the varsity collegiate cycling team in the road and cyclocross disciplines. Following graduation, she moved to Vermont for its vast opportunities for outdoor recreation. She discovered her passion for sports rehabilitation and physical therapy after shadowing various healthcare professions. Ashlyn attended the University of Vermont where she graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.  Ashlyn is currently seeking her board certified speciality in Orthopedics through an advanced residency program through Arcadia University.

Her professional mission is to positively impact the health and wellbeing of her patients and community while contributing towards a larger goal of health promotion, performance enhancement, and wellbeing for those who call Vermont home.

Personal:
Ashlyn grew up with a love for cycling and raced in road, cyclocross, and track disciplines. She spent time training at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO before racing in both the Junior Track World Championships and the Junior Road World Championships in the 2015 racing season. In her free time, she enjoys cycling, running, hiking, reading, and spending time with her family.
