Matthew Betz, PT, DPT, OCS
Matthew graduated from James Madison University in May 2014 with a B.S degree in Exercise Science. Upon graduating, Matthew decided to attend the University of Delaware, where he graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in January 2017. Shortly after graduating, Matthew joined the staff here at VASTA while also completing post-doctoral work with Arcadia University’s Orthopedic Residency program. While completing this program, he gained advanced skills in evidence-based musculoskeletal care and manual therapy and became a board certified clinical orthopedic specialist.
As a sports enthusiast, Matthew is passionate about keeping his athletes on the field and is likewise committed to getting his active-minded patients back to the activities that bring enjoyment into their lives. His interest in golf inspired him to become a Titleist Performance Institute certified professional in order to better hep his golfers back out on the course.
Matthew is also trained and certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN).

Personal: While at JMU, Matthew was the vice president of the men’s club soccer team. In his free time, Matthew enjoys anything outdoors – playing soccer, hockey, running, hiking and snowboarding.
