Michael Woods, PT, DPT, OCS

Mike graduated from the University of Vermont with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2014. Since graduating from UVM, Mike has continued with coursework through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) working towards a Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT) distinction.

Mike is passionate about sports and orthopedic rehab and has sought advanced training using the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) to help identify movement deficiencies that are either contributing to or could lead to injury. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Mike is also trained and certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN).

Prior to his studies in Physical Therapy, he earned his B.S. in Applied Exercise Science from the University of New England. At UNE, Mike was an all-conference midfielder for the varsity lacrosse team which he captained his junior and senior seasons.

Personal: Outside of work, Mike remains competitive through mountain biking and competing in the local enduro race series. He also enjoys adventuring with his dog, rock climbing, backcountry skiing, and playing soccer.
