Maggie Heerdt, PT, DPT

Maggie is a native to Montana.  She graduated from Montana State University in 2012 with a B.S. in Exercise Science and then completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017 at The University of New England.

Upon graduating, Maggie has experience working in multiple outpatient clinics throughout Central Vermont.  Her experience focuses on Orthopedic Physical Therapy, including advanced training in manual therapy.  Maggie is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor.  Additionally, Maggie is working on her board certified speciality in clinical orthopedic practice while completing her post-doctoral work with Arcadia University’s Orthopedic Residency program.

Personal: Maggie is an avid snowboarder and outdoor enthusiast.  Prior to completing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy she underwent her Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification and ski patrolled at Big Sky Resort in Montana.  She also volunteered for winter adaptive programs, providing the opportunity for those with disabilities to experience her same thrill of the slopes.

During the summer months, Maggie also enjoys playing soccer, mountain biking, golfing, and playing with her dog, Lumi.
